Procrastination: Thief of Time

Procastination literally means to postpone doing something especially as a regular practice. This habit has eaten into the lives of individuals, it is as deadly as your not achieving that task eventually, There was a young man who was told by his mother to fix some computers in her office, actually the computers were three in number, he fixed one and left 2 and said to him self "i would fix the rest later" first day passed, the mother reminded him "you have not still fixed those computers". he said again "i would do it in the evening, and of a truth he wanted to do it but as soon as he postpones it, he forgets it, by the third day the mother had lost patience and really scolded, she said "don't worry i would pay someone to do it, if my son i suffered to train has refused to help me" those words were touching and even more words uttered. So he fixed them the next morning.

Procastination is dangerous , learn to do what you have to do as soon as you remember thats were discipline comes in. the ability to do something either it is convenient or not. a lot of people have lost opportunities cause of the procrastination habit. cheers

Lessons from Mr Ola's Birthday

mr Ola fondly called Lykoko, an integral staff of generis universal tactical solutions , the boss of the technical crew for shapecd africa, was marking one of the special days of his life, views about him was shared and it was lovely to behold and hear. but of all that was said, there was one that struck the minds of all the staffs in the office, it was from the chairman of the office, a renowned motivational speaker and a blessing to all who has crossed his path or should i say worked for him. Mr Deolu Akinyemi, he shared a story it goes thus, i hope i portray it like him, There were 2 nations who were at logger heads, the citizens of these 2 nations hard a smashing resemblance i.e facial resemblance, and in order to settle their dispute they needed to go to war, some one came out and said how can we fight, we will end up kiling our selves, dont u all know that we look alike. they all thought about it and said of a truth he is right, so they thought of a plan of sewing a regalia that would differentiate them. one nation chose red the other chose black, so tailors engaged in their functions. the D day came and it was battle time. one nations warriors stood at one far end, the other at another end, all of a sudden there was someone in the middle, the front of his regalia showed red facing the red squad, his back was black facing the black squad, the two teams were shouting hei thats our man and they were jubilating, they began to wonder why they were all happy praising one man, so in the whole aura of praise, it got into his head and he started turning to wave to the teams, so when he turned the black team saw red and the red team saw black they both shot their arrows and that was the end of the dead hero. 30 seconds ago he was a hero and now he is dead, there is danger of standing in the fence, you must be able to tell your self that there must be friends and the same time enemies, you should not try to please everyone. you must take your stand and know your postions in life, as soon as these aspects are corrected in your life, the sky is your limit. these words was not only for the celebrant to me. it struck me and am posting it today. cheers.

First night in NYSC orientation camp

I arrived camp on the last day of registration precisely on friday 21st november 2008 around 11:47pm. yes at night, it was that late. oops sorry the camp was located at iselle-uku, delta state, Nigeria. as soon as i arrived, the guards told me to drop my box for search, so i obliged, during the search ne of them saw my hair cream so he opened it and said "hei look igbo(weed) dey inside na all this boys wey they smoke igbo". then one of them said your in trouble, i just smiled and said " i have not been in possession of weed before , for Christs sake every one knows soul mate has a little of stuffs inside, and its an ingrident for hair growth, and how do i even extract the weed from the hair cream for the smoking essence and that was that , they calmed down. about 10mins of my time had already been wasted. one of them said "let him go and do his registration" before the office closes. the office closes by 12. the security man pointed to a building very far away from the gate that was the only place there was a bulb in the camp. Every where was dark, i was scared on my way to the building, i remembered i kicked so many stones while dragging my box to towards the building, cos i wanted to meet up with the registrars fast. fortunately for me as soon as i got there i was attended to and i registered. i was told to go to another dark room to collect a foam. it was over. i layed down on the foam and wrote all of these.

I remembered that about 1 hour ago, i was on my way to a place i have never been before, then i was scared, nervous, asking lots of questions inside the bus, all these suddenly gone, time must pass, things must happen, ability to find your self in a condition that is not suitable and riggle your way out of it is what makes you a man. things would hapen and it would still pass away.
